In Ancient England, a person could not have sex unless they had consent by the King (unless he/she was a member of the Royal Family). If a couple wanted to have a baby, after they received consent from the King, they had to hang a placecard on their door that stated F.U.C.K. (Fornication Under Consent of the King) on it. That's where the word came from.
