Finally switched to my trying-to-study mode. Realised that I've already forgotten whatever few chapters that I studied for my mock exams. Sigh, that means I have to start all over again. DIE, no time already...Starting to get stressed out. *cold sweat* I DON'T WANT TO FAIL!!!!
Finally received my Progress Package thingy a few days back. YEAH BABY!!! Realised alot of people are thanking the government for sponsoring their Thailand, Taiwan and whatever-else-there-is trips etc. Guess alot of people will be flying off after the exams!!!
Exams are coming soon but my mind is still not focused. I keep thinking of what colour to paint my nails, what colour Balenciaga Moto to aim for, what should I wear when I go out, should I buy somemore clothes and accessories, a fantabulous and bombastic haircut I should don after my exams, which countries I would like to visit, who will win the UEFA Champions League etc. I'm also fervently counting down to FIFA World Cup '06 AND MY EXAMS. SIAN. 9 weeks to exams, 10 weeks to the World Cup. GOD PLEASE HELP ME!

This time really die liao. I know I said that I would take a short break after my mock exams and start studying again this week, but today is the end of the week already but I haven't even touched on 1 page, 1 paragraph, 1 sentence, 1 word, even 1 letter of any units yet. DIE!!!! Got so many things to blog but no time liao, so I'm just gonna do a very random update.
Recently no appetite, think I haven't really fully recovered yet. Sian.
I wanna go shopping!!! But again, no time, no money. Sian.
People all around me are talking about how miserable life is for them. Being an optimistic me, this is something I'd like to say:
Other than some unforeseen circumstances (eg. got dumped by bf/gf, death of family/friend) where indeed there is nothing you can do about your 'sadness' (time will heal all wounds as people say, so bless you!), miserabilities (don't think there's such a word, but don't care!) are generally a cause-and-effect of your own doing. YOU choose your own path most of the time, so you'll have to kan kai abit and accept the consequences. If you're indignant, you can choose to get out of the situation alternatively. Ultimately, it's still your own choice. Do you want to be happy or sad? Choose it yourself.
Remember this -
1) If you think life is unfair to you, it will be unfair to you.
2) If you think life is unhappy, you'll forever be living in unhappiness.
3) Life isn't devoid of ups and downs, everyone experiences it. It's not just you. Learn how to handle it! If other people can, why can't you?
Sigh, but 'zhong1 yan2 ni4 er3', don't think people will listen. Suan le, I'll just end here then!
ooOOOoo, I'm a Gold-digger! Flood me with diamonds, various currencies and all kinds of luxuries!!! *muacks*
Still need to save money for World Cup betting! Sian. Must do an analysis to determine which teams I'm supporting in the World Cup soon!! YEH!!!! Looking forward...
Sometimes, I really feel like going overseas to study-it's like so fun and will definitely be a life-enriching experience. Plus, I LOVE STUDYING!!! I should seriously consider going for my Masters overseas...Teeheehee
I sincerely hope that things in Thailand will get better soon. Peace everyone!! I still wanna go to Bangkok after my exams!!! If not, I'll have to change destination liao, sigh. Where should I go?
Why is everyone getting $800 and above as Bonuses from the government but I'm getting only $200 (I think)?? It's so unfair!!! BOOHOO!
I wanna go to Vegas!!! glam, Glam, GLAM!
I can't wait to hear who got the successful bid for the Singapore IR @ Marina Bay in June!!! Will it be MGM Mirage & CapitaLand? Harrah's Entertainment and Keppel Land? Las Vegas Sands? Genting International and Universal Studios? Personal fav: Harrahs!!!! With it's 'iPort' idea, it sounds very interesting!!! MGM also not bad...hmmm. Bidding for Marina Bay project ends 29 March and bidding for the Sentosa project will start 28 April. EXCITED!!!
OMG!!! Zhang Xueling triumphed over Li Jiawei in the Commonwealth Games today. What a surprise! Was watching it on TVmobile on my way to school, haha.
Still got so many things to say, but I forgot liao, don't want to waste my brain cells to think. Til next time then! Buai!
p/s: Life is as interesting as a colourful rainbow, thus explaining my coloured entry!!!

I'm so excited!!! (DUH! I'm ALWAYS excited about one thing or another anyway!)
I just came home and saw this:

What's this? You might ask. THIS is going to be a proof of my citizenship and my adulthood!
As everyone should know (if you don't, please go knock your head against the wall right now!), there is an upcoming general election and my neighbourhood has been segregated under the Yio Chu Kang contituency. This (above) is a notice informing us of a house-to-house visit by one of the opposition parties as they will be contesting for the parliamentary seat of our constituency.
Oolala...I'm going to savour this moment. My very first time at the age of 22+, I'm going to have an opportunity to exercise my voting right as a Singaporean adult in my wonderful democratic society!
I've always love politics. One of my ambitions is to become a politician! Though that's still a faraway dream to me, I can now listen to what the 2 different parties have to say and make an important decision all by myself! *smirk* (--> I feel so adult!!!) Please don't ask me who I'm going to vote for! As the TV always advertise and adults are also always saying whenever there's an election, "Your vote is a secret." OR "Tou piao shi mi mi de.", so HUSH!!! SHHHHHHHHH!!!

In Ancient England, a person could not have sex unless they had consent by the King (unless he/she was a member of the Royal Family). If a couple wanted to have a baby, after they received consent from the King, they had to hang a placecard on their door that stated F.U.C.K. (Fornication Under Consent of the King) on it. That's where the word came from.
I'm sick. SUPER SICK.
Haven't been so sick in at least a few years liao. I vomitted 2 times and go toilet lao sai 2 times. I even vomitted on the way back home from the doctor's. The uncle who saw me vomitting thought I was drunk in broad daylight or something. Been sleeping the whole day. Feeling very hungry but got no appetite to eat. Someone please save me!

WOOHOO!!! I can post up pics now!!! Something is very wrong with blogspot...siao one...
Money can't buy you everything. How true. For example, it cannot buy you love. Neither can money buy you your health - or any other peoples' for that matter. Being sad enough for not getting the 2 most precious things on earth, you look to seek for some material comfort. How would you feel when you can't even get those beautiful stilettos you have been aiming for since like a hundred years ago? What about that drop-dead gorgeous dress which fits you perfectly when you last tried it?
Absence of the previous 2 'intangible assets' definitely makes you feel sad. But the lack of 'tangible (material) assets' makes you feel depressed too isn't it? Welcome to my world everyone!! (Please don't be mistaken though, I'm fortunate enough to possess the first 2 'intangible' ones, so I'm just talking about the 'material' one.)
Example of got-money-also-cannot-buy 'material assets':
The Hermes Birkin -
This bag above has a waiting list of 5 years and cost $10,000+++ . Want it? Get in the queue girls!
The Hermes Kelly -Similar to the Birkin, it is also one of the most classic bags held by socialites all over the world. Got money? You'll still have to wait!
Chloe Paddington -
Designed by Phoebe Philo, this bag was dubbed 'the fastest-selling bag ever in history'. 8,000 Paddingtons were produced for the launch last year, but none made it to the shelves of the boutiques.
Chloe Silverado -
(The one on the right is the original silverado bag)
Another widely-coveted bag designed by Phoebe Philo. Just like the Chloe Paddington, it is also a sell-out bag with a waiting list of a few months.
Fendi Spy -
This hobo-look-alike bag has a waiting list of around 3 months. Other than genuine leather, there are versions of this bag which are made of exotic materials such as python skin and squirrel fur.
Having introduced the 'It' bags above, I'm now ready for the revelation of my secret...
TADAH!!! My very own Chloe Paddington!!! I managed to lay my hands on one of them and I even got it in the super-popular-sell-out Black!!!
I'd like to thank my Dad for his part-sponsorship even though he thinks it's a waste of money. I'd also like to thank my Mum for her support in my love for designer bags. And of course not forgetting Heng for his help in checking the arrivals of Paddington bags. Thank you sooOOoo much!!! Love ya all!!!
Sigh...I've waited for this bag for so long, almost half a year. I was contemplating between the Chocolate Brown and Black. In the end, I decided on the Black one because I heard that the skin of the Chocolate Brown one sort of like peels off after a while (dunno whether it's true or not). Furthermore, Black is a more versatile colour.
After I bought the bag, the manager of the shop told me that the designer of the Paddington bag (aka Phoebe Philo) had resigned from Chloe. How sad isn't it. She's the one who increased Chloe's sales by 80% in the past few years! But, that would mean that the Paddington might become a limited edition bag after this season!!! Yipee!!!
Okay, so now, I'm officially broke. Therefore, I kindly reject all invites to those super-duper-money-spending events. I'll have to wait til my exams end and start work immediately again. Sometimes, I really hate myself for being such a spendthrift. ;p
p/s: the 'thing' missing on my blog is none other than the 'Chloe Paddington Bag' under my Wish List. But I have now added more wishes yet AGAIN!!!

Something's missing on my blog. It's a very small 'thing' and if you've never really looked thoroughly at my blog before, you would not have noticed it. However, it's too late now. It's gone. It holds the key to my secret. A secret I'm going to reveal very soon.
So my dear friends: For those of you who knows what it is, you have discovered my secret! For the rest of you, till then!

I'M SO EXCITED!!!!
The time has finally come. Should I or should I not? Indecisive. Can hear people scolding me - aka Meng-Ge. Hahaha. However, I know some people who understands how I feel also - aka Heng and my dearest Mum.
I'm not gonna reveal what it is until I have made up my mind. Until now, the only one who knows other than my family is Heng. I'd like to thank him for all he had done for me regarding this 'issue'. In case Heng still doesn't know what I'm talking about,
Recollection for Heng: After your 'Lost' premiere...but mission failed...haha. And then the Yellow Pages today...it's an absolute SUCCESS!!!
Thanks for your help ya *muacks*.
Wish me luck guys!

It has been a very difficult period for me. But after considering the pros and cons, I have now come to a decision.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to announce that...

I want to be a Brazilian my next life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Since young, I had never really look forward to going to places like Tokyo, Paris, New York etc. (Although if someone is willing to sponsor me, I'm alright with it.) My dream is to go to countries like Greece, South Africa, Brazil, Turkey etc. These are the exotic places which I will be able to experience different cultures whereas big cities like New York are not much different from Singapore (boring!).
Taking into consideration the above argument, I had shortlisted a few countries like Venezuela, Greece, Spain, Brazil etc to be reborn in my next life. But coming to the final conclusion had been a tough choice. I'd hereby like to present my most crucial argument for my decision:

When I'm born as a Brazilian in my next life,
MALE -
I would be like to be like...
Ronaldinho
OR
Adriano
It's common knowledge that the most important sport in Brazil is football. Children in their country started playing soccer since they are young, probably once they are able to walk and run without falling! This explains why their players are probably the best in the world.
Having won the World Cup on many occasions (including being the current World Cup title holder), Brazilian players are in high demand all across Europe. For example, Ronaldinho and Adriano above play for Barcelona and Inter Milan respectively. I was watching the mid-week Champions League match between Barcelona and Chelsea, I must say that Ronaldinho is such an amazing player that my jaws dropped whenever he's in control of the ball. Definitely worthy of being the World's Best Player.
So, if I'm a Brazilian, I'm going to be a soccer player!!! And I'll be earning millions PER WEEK (PER WEEK okay! Not PER MONTH! That's how rich soccer players are), HAHAHAHAHA!
FEMALE -
I would like to be like...
Adriana Lima
OR
Alessandra Ambrosio
In recent years, approximately 50% of the world's supermodels are Brazilians. They usually start their modelling career at a very young age and went on to become world-renowned supermodels. For example, the above 2 supermodels - Adriana and Alessandra were borned in Brazil and started out when they were around 15. They have been the spokesperson for Guess?, A/X, Armani Jeans, Victoria Secrets etc.
Therefore, when I become a Brazilian my next life, I'll be a model!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Travelling all round the globe and immersing myself in the world of fashion...OooOO...it'll be like heaven!
Seriously, I'm fine with being either one. However, if I HAD TO choose between being a male or a female (soccer player or supermodel) in my next life, I'd choose to be a female. Friends and family close to me will know that I love being a girl. I think it's definitely alot more interesting and advantageous in certain ways to be one!!!
I love my life sooOOooOoooO much!!!!! *muacks muacks muacks* And I definitely want to love my next life too!!!!

I had to use my dad's PC to blog. Dunno what is wrong with my PC, it just doesn't allow me to connect. But I'm too much of an IT-idiot to figure out what's wrong, so I took the easy way out. Haha.
I think I'm crazy. I woke up at 8am today! OMG! Freaking 8am! I woke up so early to study. See! I'm so hardworking!
ERMM...I'm lying. HAHA. I woke up to watch the 78th Oscars. I have to watch the 'Live' telecast because I HAVE TO watch the Red Carpet. As everyone knows, Red Carpet will not be on the encore telecast at night. So, having left with no choice, I drag myself up at 8am EVERY YEAR.
My favourites of the Red Carpet:

George Clooney in either Armani or Gucci. [I love him to bits!! He'll always be the Sexiest Man Alive in my heart.]
Nicole Kidman dressed by Balenciaga.
Keira Knightley in Vera Wang's one-shouldered gown. [I love this dress!!]
Carolina Kurkova. [Looking as pretty as ever. But why is she here? This is the Oscars, not the US Fashion Week!]
Charlize Theron by Dior.
Naomi Watts in Givenchy. [I love this gown too!]
The Oscar officially started after the Red Carpet and I have to say, Oscar's host are always the best. This year's Oscar's host, Jon Stewart started the show by saying: "Good Evening Ladies, Gentlemen...Felicity." I almost laughed my head off!!
Good news! Lee Ang got the Best Director Award for Brokeback Mountain. But I wonder why Westerners like to change our Chinese name into THEIR format. They call Lee Ang - Ang Lee. And they call Zhang Ziyi - Ziyi Zhang. Why must they change our names into their 'First-and-Last-name-basis'? Next time I'm going to call Tom Cruise - Cruise Tom and Angelina Jolie - Jolie Angelina!
Anyway, I'd hereby like to congrat all Oscar winners. Thank you for all the good movies and thanks for all your hard work. May the future be filled with more of such good films!!

My brother and I are crazy over Fort Minor recently...THEY'RE THE BEST!!!!
Heard that Kyan went for their concert in the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 1st March. First row seats somemore!!!! *Green with envy* Anyway, haven't seen this 'sista' of mine in a long long time...must definitely call him up after my mock to arrange for a date!!!
Recently, everyone is studying very hard for their mock exams. How do I know that? Coz it's stated on their MSN nick! Noticed alot of them put the word 'mugging'. But from what I know, there isn't such a word in the context of 'studying'. I thought I was wrong and went to check the dictionary. Look what I found:
Mugging: An assault upon a person especially with the intent to rob.
And this is the only meaning I can find. So, imagine if you are studying overseas, probably in LA and a fellow roommate asked you: "Hey, whatcha doing?"
You: "I'm mugging for my exams..."
Roommate: "MUGGING??!! What do you mean??!! Don't cha have enough money to pay for your exam fees??!!!!"
WAHAHAHA!!! That's so damn funny!! Wonder why and when Singaporeans started to use the word 'mugging' in this context.
Okay, I'm going to watch my cry show liao. Tata!
