I have a few sad friends recently.
Had been listening to their problems and giving some advice. An advice I had been giving quite frequently nowadays is, 'The higher you expect out of something, the harder you will fall. Thus, don't expect too much and you won't be too disappointed at the end of the day.' Very applicable right?? Haha, that's what I think la, looking at all my friends' problems.
Never had I thought that I would come across a phrase with a similar meaning in a very popular novel today: 'Never invest yourself in anything so deeply that its failure could cost you your happiness.' - from 'The Rule of Four' by Ian Caldwell & Dustin Thomason.
See?? I never bluff you all hor...haha...
Aiya...I've known that I'm very very very intelligent since I'm still very young. But never had I thought that I have the potential to become a bestselling author also leh. So it's really true that intelligent people have the same kind of thoughts and opinions...hahaha...
Anyway, My Dearest Darling Suzi had been admitted into CGH today!!!! Oh My God!!!! The poor girl...I hereby hope that she will get well soon. Take care of yourself k? All of us (your partners in crime...hahaha) are waiting patiently for your return.
