Coming to an end of the year again. This year seems to pass exceptionally fast. This is neither a good nor bad year for me. Had my share of ups and downs. Well, this is what life is all about isn't it...
Since a New Year is officially arriving in less than 24 hours...I shall reflect upon what I have done this year and make New Year Resolutions to change for the better in the next year!
REFLECTION:
1) This year, I learnt that life has 2 extremes to it. It can be EXTREMELY ENJOYABLE. And it can be EXTREMELY TORTUROUS. Under some circumstances, you have no choice and God just drop you into either of these situations. Under other circumstances, you have a choice as to which route you choose - although it might be difficult choosing it.
Firstly, I'd like to thank God (Err...I'm not Christian hor...But I'll just make this a general term irregardless of religions) for giving me happy moments, for I truly enjoy it. Thank you SO MUCH. I'd also like to thank God again for giving me periods of sadness, for it is having been thru these down times that I have learnt valuable lessons about life. It has trained me to become a tougher and more independent girl. Thank you for helping me become what I am today.
Having been thru the 2 different circumstances mentioned in the 1st paragraph - having or not having a choice, (wow, sound like a comprehension passage right? hmm...) I think I had allowed myself to fall into the wrong 'hole' far too often under the 2nd situation. Not just this year, but ALWAYS. Meaning, when I have the choice, I still took the wrong path.
RESOLUTION:
Therefore, in Year 2006, I aim to become a more clear-headed person. THINK before I do or speak. I had never regretted any of my choices before, but this time round, I must also make sure all my choices in the coming year are the right ones.
REFLECTION:
2) I always live life with some principles, and one of them is: "For People who treat me well, I will repay them with DOUBLE the kindness . For People who treat me bad, I will make sure they suffer DOUBLE of what I did."
To a certain extent, I did live by this principle. But sometimes, I'm too soft-hearted to exercise the 'BAD' part. This is my weakness. My mum had always told me since young that I'm too soft-hearted and being that will only put me in an extreme disadvantage. I agree.
On the other hand, I didn't really exercise the 'GOOD' part either. Especially towards my family. My family is the one thing that I treasure and love most in my entire life. Noone and Nothing can ever ever surpass them in my heart. I always believe that anyone, I really mean ANYONE, can betray my trust. Friends, Boyfriends, Husbands, My Children etc might betray me. At the end of the day, the only one who would never ever betray me and will always stand by my side will be my family. I LOVE THEM!
RESOLUTION:
So, for Year 2006, I aspire to be someone who is more hard-hearted. To not give in to people so easily the minute they treat me well. I must always keep in mind how they had treated me in the past. IT"S PAYBACK TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course, I must also treat nice people around me, especially my family, better in the coming year. I'm so blessed to have them. Thank you!!!!
REFLECTION:
3) I think I really spent too much money. I'm such a spendthrift. Heng said to me: "Sometimes, you look like a rich, spoilt bitch to me..." and he proceeded to change my name in his phonebook to 'Tai Tai Xian'. Some other friends changed my name in their phonebook to 'Princess Elyse' etc.
I bought 3 branded bags this year. 2 Gucci, 1 LV. "Nothing much mah", you all might say. Eh, but please keep in mind that I'm still a student with income of less than $1000 per month hor.
And now that I think of it...I'm still aiming for a Balenciaga Motorcycle bag and a Chloe Paddington bag. OMG!
RESOLUTION:
Although I love branded bags, I think I really need to keep it under control. Maybe one branded bag a year, for Chinese New Year? Ok, the most the most two okay? And that's when I feel really rich. Hmmm...although hard, but I must really try to keep to this particular resolution...
REFLECTION:
4) I had cried too much this year. I hate crying. I hate the swollen eyes I get the next morning. I hate the vulnerable feeling. I HATE IT!!!!!!
RESOLUTION:
Simple. I MUST TRY NOT TO CRY IN YEAR 2006. Year 2006 will be a happy year for me!
REFLECTION:
5) This year, I had started thinking about how I would like my future life to be like. I already had a perfect picture of it. But it's all action but no talk. I procrastinate too much.
Someone said to me recently that I tend to drag things on and on, and that's why I need to be constantly pushed. i guess that's somehow true.
RESOLUTION:
I must really get into the 'action' part of the plans in Year 2006. I have opportunities that others might not have, so I should already be considered lucky.
Also, I need to start SAVING MORE and SPENDING LESS. This is for the good of my future. This would in turn mean that I have to go out less and stay at home more. Less shopping, Less clubbing.
All in all, I hope next year will be a good year for me, my family and all my friends. May everyone be happy and stay healthy!!!
They say being reincarnated as human-beings is a punishment by God. But I love my life so much and would not give it up for anything. And if there is a next life, I'd choose to be human again.
May all my wishes come true in 2006!

Okay...I dunno where to start...coz got too many things to blog about already. Let me first get the ball rolling with the newest info which is still fresh in my mind...
1) THE UOL EXAMS 2006 TIMETABLE IS OUT TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Checked my exam dates. All my papers are in June. Okay la...that's quite lucky for me, coz I will have more time to study...(Coz everyone has started their revision already but I hafn't...plus I dun listen in class one...see how jialat it is??!!!! starting to get kan cheong already...) The unlucky thing is, my last paper falls DURING the World Cup period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How sway can I be man???!!!!
Sian leh...I go count already...got 10 World Cup matches before my last paper. That means I gotto start studying for my last paper first so that I won't have to last-minute-study too much for that unit and can watch abit of World Cup also...WAHAHAHAHA!!!!! CLEVER ME!!!!! =_= (I decided to use '=' instead of the usual '-' coz I got double eyelids...hahahaha)
Okay la...I really really really have to start studying from next year onwards already. IT'S A PROMISE!!! A NEW YEAR RESOLUTION!!!! Gotto go out less, and study more!!!! Can save more money also...coz I really LOVE the Chloe bag...which should cost around $2000+ (haven't go check out the price yet...but should be around there... --> Errr...I think Meng Ge going to scold me already...hahaha)

It was abit mad right from the start...ordered too many jugs of Long Island Tea liao...Plus abit of Vodka Ribena and Beer...most of us got abit drunk. At least I did la...I was completely drunk...the only good thing was I never vomit...lucky...
Yun went home quite early coz she was KO-ed after some Bacardi and Long Island Tea. Hahaha...Tink she shud really train up her alcohol level loh...or else next time get cheated by guys how??

4) X'mas Eve at Chamber82!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's definitely a night to remember...
Met my buddies after work at 8plus. Wah lau, town was so so so crowded loh!!! We then proceed to Boat Quay to have our dinner and went to Chamber82 after that. Already booked a sofa seat there, WAHAHAHA! Comfy, Comfy!!!

It's very funny how sometimes I see people trying to lie to me.
Yes, I know some people are lying to me. I'm not saying that I got super powers or wat la of course. Maybe I stupidly get smoked by some people whom I didn't realise were lying to me also. But what I'm emphasizing here is: There are definitely some people in my life whom I can see that they're lying, right in my face somemore. Don't tell me how I know, of course I would not be so stupid as to tell you all. Just take it as I got a spycam attached on everyone of you loh.
Okay la, I mean I don't blame them for lying la. It's their mouth what...whether they choose to lie to me or not is their own choice. I don't deny that I lie to people also. But I really find it very funny to see them trying to defend themselves and try to convince me that what they're telling me is the truth. It's really HILARIOUS loh...HAHAHAHA!
So you may be curious of what I do when I discovered their lies...okay, let me satisfy your curiosity!!!! *drumrolls*

The LV party was a blast as expected!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It actually started approx 1 week before when we have to draw lots to see who we have to buy presents for. OooOOo, exciting right? Secret gift-exchanging!!!! I drew Jacob and bought a miniature Calvin Klein Crave perfume for him. Forgot to take a picture of my gift for him though...sadness...
Never mind la...Anyway, let's get the party started!!!!!
Me, Yun, Nas and Ann arrived at about 9.15pm. We were abit early although those who's working were already closing the store and counting stock. So while waiting, we took out our cameras and started taking pictures.
Yun, Nas, Ann, Me and Super-cutey Kian (Yen's son)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wah...it's really difficult to persuade this young boy over here to take a picture with us loh...He's running all around the shop biting people while everyone was trying to catch him and play with him. Hahaha! And if you people are wondering, yes, Kian is an Eurasian. With a super good-looking German Daddy and a super pretty ex-SQ-stewardess Mummy, Kian has got all the good genes flowing thru his body.

The 1980's batch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (all part-timers - some sales, some runners & packers) All except Suzi (extreme right) is from 1970's batch. Hahahaha. When asked why she's in the photo with us when she's not from our batch, she said 'I'm their Mamasan mah!'. Wahahaha!!! She's so funny!!!!
The party is about to start. We started to tuck in to the food which Zainab and her family had prepared for us (so nice of her right!!!!). It was delicious, especially the chicken wing!!! (Yumyum!) Thanks Zainab!!!!
After filling our stomachs, I started to walk around the store and saw that all the gifts and prizes are already nicely displayed. Plus, I spotted this...
OooooooOOo, a X'mas tree with baby photos on it!!!!! It's a 'Guess who???' game and we were suppose to guess who the babies are. Interesting right???
My 'Guess Who???' list!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are 30 baby photos!!!!! Most are very difficult to guess though...
And the party has officially started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *applause and whistle*
One of our supervisors, Zeren, is our 'host' for the night (the one holding the 'X'mas tree' in front). We're guessing who the babies are!!!
Look at the crowd!!!! All the LV staff who were enthusiastic in finding out who the babies are!!!! And these are only half of them who were sitting on my right...the other half on my left...hahaha...
After the 'Guess Who???' game, here comes the 2nd game, Decorating the 'X'mas Tree'!!!!! we were splitted into 5 teams and the teams were to decide on 1 person in their team to be their X'mas tree!!!! We were then given a bag of decorative stuff for the 'tree'. Our team chose Yun to be the 'tree', hahahaha. Coz they say that she's small-sized and therefore cuter (to score more points) and easier to decorate...

We got our prize!!!!!! There's a sticker on the box saying that the prize is sponsored by Panasonic somemore...made us so excited to see what's inside. (Btw, all the prizes for the games are sponsored...) But in the end...
There's only fans inside...each of us in the team got 1...But okay la...after that when we were playing other games, it got so warm inside the store (I think too many people already...) that our fans became so useful...Other team people keep asking us where we got it from and wanted to borrow from us...Wahahaha!
For the 3rd game, we were suppose to form a very very big circle (as I think there were about at least 40 of us). We were going to play 'Passing the Parcel'!!!!! It's been so long since I played this game...it's a Primary School game leh...

After finishing the 'Passing the Parcel' game, Jeremy 'ordered' that the PAIL of Chivas be brought to him while the mystery gifts were being given out. A group of us crowded around him and had a toast!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
While waiting for our gifts to be 'delivered' to us, (hahaha...very pampered hor we all...) we proceeded to take more pictures. By now everyone seems to be going crazy already...very noisy inside the store...hahaha...
